Need tips for converting tweets and posts into honest-to-goodness leads? On Social Media Explorer, Jeff Larche shares a list of basic to advanced techniques for building social media awareness into the corporate website.

In Jeff’s second tip, Make Your Site the Main Attraction, he lays out a conversion sequence that takes a user from social media network to website to action. Here’s a recap:

  1. Social media users see your compelling Twitter or Facebook headline.
  2. They click a link that takes them to your corporate blog, which delivers the content nitty-gritty.
  3. The user sees other links to web pages that provide more details about your products or services.
  4. Each of those pages contains a call to action, whether it’s signing up for a mailing list or clicking the buy button.

Actionable processes that advance company goals are key to success in the social media space.  What do you see as the toughest roadblock to developing and formalizing social media processes?
