Gannett Hatches Daily Deal Site

Media giant Gannett announced the national launch of its daily deal site DealChicken. The site will run offers in nearly 60 large and mid-sized markets. The social commerce website acknowledges that although consumers have plenty of choice in the fast-growing daily deals market, Gannett’s strong ties with local merchants make DealChicken stand out from the competition.
