What Social Media Lesson Would You Share with Students?
Social media and college students are making news this week: First, LinkedIn is making its profiles more useable for college students by adding sections designed for future job seekers. Students can now promote their honors and awards, test scores, courses, and projects. What’s more, college goers can rearrange the sections with a simple drag-and-drop to highlight strengths. On a related note, Craig Carter on Ignite Social Media shares that Hofstra University and marketing/PR firm Harrison Leifer DiMarco are partnering to offer a digital and social media course in the fall. Students will learn to market using social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
