What is Web 3.0?
Just when you were getting familiar with Web 2.0, along comes Web 3.0. What’s that, you ask? According to a SXSW discussion with LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman (and shared by Kipp Bodnar on HubSpot Blog) Web 3.0 is all about data—the web will become more focused on sharing content across all platforms, from blogs to social networks. The result is that businesses will be able to collect data that is more precise and more abundant than ever. And they will be able to capitalize on that data.
The concept of Web 3.0 has been around for a few years, but do you think businesses finally have the tools to enter this new age? Is there anything you would add and/or change about this definition?
