Serial entrepreneur, published author and CEO of Social Strategy1, Mike Lewis has spent the past 25 years forming, financing and profitably managing over a dozen successful startup companies, continually identifying meaningful new trends and emerging opportunities. During the last 14 years, Mike has championed the growth of ILD Corp. from a start up to a leading outsourced service provider to a number of America’s largest companies. Since 2005, his focus has been on social commerce transactions and monetizing social media. Building on the strength and depth of ILD, combined with Mike’s broad experience in management and marketing, Mike launched Social Strategy1 as a leading enterprise partner assisting companies in building and monitoring the most effective social media and social commerce strategies. Mike has developed a solid foundation for leading Social Strategy1’s team to assist its partners in positioning themselves to succeed in the social media and commerce marketplace by developing data driven market strategies in this new era.

In addition, Mike’s vision led him to become a founder of OfficeArrow.com, the fastest growing online community of office professionals. Through his involvement with OfficeArrow and Social Strategy1, Mike has been very involved in the Wharton Interactive Media Initiative (WIMI). WIMI’s primary purpose is to serve as the premiere research endeavor, focused on interactive media implications for traditional business models.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School and his Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. When he’s not working, he is participating in Wharton’s Entrepreneur in Residence and Venture Awards programs. Mike is also an active participant in Jacksonville, Florida’s philanthropic community, having served on a number of community Boards, and most recently Mike was named an Ultimate CEO, an honor awarded by the Jacksonville Business Journal.  Mike recently published a book on his business experiences in social media, “Social Media Leadership: How to Get Off the Bench and Into the Game”.
