Millennials Want Social Commerce – Study
Social commerce is catching on with the Millennial generation. About 40% said they would shop more from within Facebook if the opportunities were there, according to a study from marketing communications firm JWT. That number is a sharp contrast to about 25% of Gen Xers and only 16% of Boomers who said the same. Check out these additional tidbits about younger consumers and brand interaction on social networks:
- About 50% of Millennials say shopping through Facebook would not be a hardship.
- 48% of Millennials want favorite shopping hubs/brands to have a sales page within Facebook.
- 46% of them say personalized recommendations would help them make buying decisions.
