Social Media ROI is a hot topic these days. It can be the determining factor when deciding on your social media strategy and allocating funds to your effort. A recent study done by Eventbrite should help shed some light on where you can see more return.

Their biggest finding in the study is that Facebook Likes bring in an average of $1.34 in ticket sales and a Tweet brings in an average of about $0.80. In addition the study revealed that Facebook brings in more sales than Twitter.

Also found in the Eventbrite study:

  • 40% of Facebook sharing occurred on the event page pre-purchase
  • 60% of Facebook sharing occurred on the order confirmation page post-purchase
  • 1% of people who look at event page before purchase share the event
  • 10% of people who look at event page after purchasing a ticket share the event

Will these findings affect your social media budget or your social media strategy?
