2 Ways to Make Content Social
Got content? If you have a corporate blog, post updates on Facebook, or upload video to YouTube, then you do. Leyl Master Black on Mashable shares 5 tactics to help brands boost content strategy. One of her tips is to leverage social media channels to promote content. Here’s how:
There’s more to sharing than Facebook and Twitter. Remember to leverage the power of LinkedIn connections as well. In the article, Becky Boyd of communications agency MediaFirst says:
“On LinkedIn, I belong to groups that focus on my clients’ target audiences. When my client writes a blog post, I submit the post to the groups’ News or Discussion section. This way, when a group admin sends an email update to fellow members, it will include a link to the blog post.”
Make sharing a breeze. Let your target audience easily share content with the click of a mouse by adding social plugins (i.e. a Facebook “Like” button, etc.).
You worked hard to produce those blogs, updates, and videos. But it’s not enough to just produce it—if you want it to have a chance at being effective you need to publish it. There’s no more cost-effective and audience-expanding way to do that than with social media.
